The idea of Frescopia is an amalgamation of socially cohesive and extroverted spaces with pockets of personal spaces for contemplation and solitude. The design speculates over the “what could be” and “what is” to strike a balance between privacy and interconnections to provide a sense of belonging within the retirees. The outdoor spaces could be customised by the residents and hence have a sense of control over where they live and can mould the spaces.
